The Caring Collection creates stained glass artwork to benefit cancer patients at the Johns Hopkins Oncology Center in Baltimore, Maryland and the Anne Arundel Oncology Center in Annapolis, Maryland. It is composed of a group of over 90 volunteers of all ages and backgrounds who create stained glass angels and sun catchers. To date, they have donated over $945,000 for specific equipment for patient care and research.
It began in 1982 when Maryland artist Bobbie Burnett designed one three-dimensional angel for a friend with leukemia. Today over 40,000 angels of various designs and an infinite number of sun catchers can be found in homes throughout the world. Each one is a symbol of love, hope, care and comfort.

Where is my Angel?
Dear Friends,
The Caring Collection volunteers have returned to the assemby line on December 26th to work on the 700 plus orders of Joy Angels remaining to be completed. Our goal is to finish them by the end of April in order to make the donation to oncology in May. We apologize for the delay but please remember it takes over 25 hours to make each angel and we strive for perfection. You will not be charged until the day your order is shipped.
Most Sincerely,
Bobbie Burnett and all the Caring Collection Volunteers

Thank You for your Support
The Caring Collection wishes to thank everyone for their support. Equipment purchased through the sale of our stained glass artwork and your most generous donations has enhanced, enriched, and extended the lives of a great number of oncology patients.
In May 2011, our $100,000 donation was divided between the Johns Hopkins Oncology Center in Baltimore and the Anne Arundel Oncolog Center in Annapolis, Maryland. Our funds purchased an EVOS digital flourescence microscope for research at Hopkins, as was as stereotactic and accessory equipment for the breast biopsy table, and infusion treatment recliners for patient care at Anne Arundel. Click here for more details on the presentation day donation.
The Caring Collection has exceeded $945,000 of tangible donations for the benefit of oncology patients. We look forward to your continued support as we strive to meet our goal of $1,000,000.
