Presentation Day 2011
The Caring Collection held its annual "Presentation Day" on Sunday May 1st, 2011 at Bobbie Burnett's Stained Glass Studio. Doctors from Johns Hopkins and Anne Arundel Oncology Centers were presented checks in the amount of $50,000 each, for a total donation of $100,000. Thanks to all of our supporters, that brings the total donations to over $945,000.
Dr. Charles Drake from the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center accepted $50,000 for the purchase of the AMG Evos Inverted Fluorescence Microscopic Imager.
Dr. William Adams from the Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute at the Anne Arundel Medical Center, accepted $30,000 to purchase a Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Table accessory.
Dr. Barry Meisenberg, also from AAMC accepted $20,000 to purchase infusion chairs for the Infusion Center.
